Ari Schneider

Journalist

I'm a senior writer at Mountain Gazette and the author of Stolen Headstones: One Family's Forgotten Holocaust Story. I've contributed to The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian, Vogue, and Slate. My work has also appeared alongside stories by literary legends Hunter S. Thompson and Edward Abbey in the book Print Ain't Dead, an anthology celebrating 60 years of Mountain Gazette. I hold a bachelor's degree in political science from Tufts University and a master's in journalism from NYU. Raised in the Green Mountains of Vermont, I now live in Colorado.
